Point Clare Community Hall and Wyoming Community Centre will play host to a number of FREE Green Living Workshops this year, brought to you by Central Coast Council.
Here's what's taking place at Point Clare Community Hall in March 2017:
Compost and Worm Farming
Date: Saturday 11 March
Time: 9am-12pm
Venue: Point Clare Community Hall, 49 Brisbane Water Drive, Point Clare
About: This workshop covers all the tips and tricks for successful composting and worm farming and demonstrates how easy and fun both are to do. A free compost bin or worm farm will be given to each attending household on completion of the workshop.
No Dig Gardening
Date: Saturday 11 March
Time: 12.30pm-3.30pm
Venue: Point Clare Community Hall, 49 Brisbane Water Drive, Point Clare
About: No dig gardens can be established anywhere, even on concrete surfaces. These gardens are a quick and effective way to create healthy, productive and water efficient gardens.

Chemical Free Cleaning
Date: Saturday 1 April
Time: 12pm-2.30pm
Venue: Wyoming Community Centre, 147 Maiden's Brush Road, Wyoming
About: How many different sprays and poisons do you use in your house? This workshop will cover natural chemical free and effective alternatives to commercial cleaning products. A small Chemical Free Cleaning Kit will be given to all participants.
